Dinosaur rEvolution, a new touring exhibition from Gondwana Studios, explores the thrilling world of dinosaurs and their ancestors.
Featuring animatronics, 3D models, close-to-life sized murals and fossil casts that you can touch.

Dinosaur rEvolution is in the exhibition room of the South Australian Museum. It features three large animatronic dinosaurs with moving heads, tails, muscles that make sounds.
There are some huge fossil casts of dinosaur heads and some large fossil models.
If you went to see the dinosaurs at the Adelaide Zoo last year, you’ll notice this is a much smaller scale exhibit with the obvious restriction of it being indoors and restricted by space. For those with kids who were scared of the huge very life-like dinosaurs at the zoo, these dinosaurs may be less frightening.
There are signs at each station with plenty of information you can learn about each dinosaur.
Very young dinosaur lovers (maybe 2 to 8 year olds) especially may enjoy this exhibition. The little ones squealed with excitement to see the moving ones when we visited. The exhibition room is not a large area so there’s not a lot of walking to do.

There’s a small kid’s corner with cushions, some hand puppets and games that little ones will like.

- Concession $12
- Children aged 3-15 $5 (must be accompanied by paying adult)
- Children under 3* FREE
- Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) $35
