These summer holidays you can travel back in time to see dinosaurs roaming around Adelaide Zoo. If like us you saw the dinosaurs last time they visited three years ago, you might be interested in whether they are the same or not. While a couple of them look familiar they are definitely bigger and better this time. See our pics and videos below.

There are seven life-like, moving, roaring, animatronic dinosaurs to see, including this big fellow, as soon as you enter the zoo. Just follow the dinosaur footprints along the paths to visit each one.

You’ll see the dinosaurs moving their heads, mouths, eyes and tails in a very realistic way, while roaring and making noises.  Dinosaur fans will absolutely love it. Some little ones may be a little scared though as some tower above and look so real. However there is plenty of space so they don’t need to get too close if they don’t want to.

For those kids that can’t get enough, they can get pretty close-up to them, but of course, no touching is allowed.

There are even some little hatchlings peeping out of dinosaur eggs. Look out for them – they move as well.

T-Rex who visited last time looks so majestic this time, guarding over the Nature’s playground. Kids can play alongside him as he roars.

Unlike last time they visited, the dinosaurs are spread out over the zoo this time and are not all in one enclave area. We love this – it makes the dinosaurs look even more realistic in amongst the foliage and beautiful grounds of the zoo. It’s fun to wander along the paths and look out for each one.

The dinosaur trail ends at the Nature’s playground which is a great spot for a play.
