Balfours and Romeo’s Retail Group launch ‘Dream Ride Australia’ to give special kids an extra special experience!
Glenelg’s Wigley Reserve will play host to 120 supercars from 10am on Sunday 29 April 2018, to make dreams come true for South Australians with intellectual disabilities.
More than 1000 people are expected to attend the event and the local community is invited to share in the free activities on the day. With children’s entertainment, food trucks, live music, face painting, amusement rides and some 120 prestigious cars on display, Dream Ride Australia will certainly be an event for the whole family to enjoy.
Joseph Romeo, Dream Ride Committee Chair and Director of Romeo’s Retail Group said,
Our family has proudly attended and supported Dream Ride USA for over ten years and we are so happy to be able to bring this experience to Adelaide.
The connection between the trans-pacific team behind this wonderful event is present at every turn. To ensure the Dream Ride vision is achieved on our shores, the team will also welcome a select few families from the US to the South Australian event.

We are so happy to be able to welcome 20 special kids and their families from the US to join us at the event. We feel that this extra level of excitement on the day will ensure the inaugural Australian Dream Ride is nothing less than amazing.
The route will take our dream riders on a loop of Adelaide’s western edge. Riders will leave Glenelg’s Wigley Reserve at 1pm to travel up Tapley’s Hill Road, Sir Donald Bradman Drive, West Terrace, and back via Anzac Highway.
