Duck Race Highlander Train | Mt Barker to Strathalbyn | 30 Nov 2025
The annual Great Strathalbyn Duck Race is back again and SteamRanger will run the ‘Duck Race Highlander’ from Mt Barker to Strathalbyn.
A great family day out in Strathalbyn, along with the duck race there will be the CWA Christmas Markets and so much more. The train will be departing Mount Barker at 9:30am, arriving in Strathalbyn at 10:30am. The return train will depart Strathalbyn at 3pm and arrive back in Mount Barker at 4pm.
Train fares include a free duck for each passenger to enter into the race and the return train ride from Mount Barker:
