Celebrating 20 years of Croatian flavour, culture and community in Adelaide.

Fešta – The Croatian Food & Wine Festival is an annual one day outdoor event held in November and this year will be the festival’s 20th celebration.

Fešta has always been a relaxed and casual family day out with a strong emphasis on delicious food and great entertainment. The availability of various regional Croatian cuisines, all cooked to authentic home-style recipes and techniques is what sets Fešta apart from other food and wine festivals. It makes Fešta unique in a state famous for it’s food and wine festivals.

Fešta is run exclusively by volunteers, and continues to be the biggest event on the calendar for the Croatian community of South Australia.

Festival highlights will include Folkloric Dance Groups, live Croatian string bands and singers plus special guests live band ‘Major Minor’ (Melb).

• Live music played by Croatian bands throughout the day
• Croatian Folkloric dancers and singers (local and interstate)
• Festa Cup soccer match
• ‘Kamena sa Ramena’ (Boulder Throw) competition
• Lots of activities for kids: inflatable obstacle course, YMCA gymnastics, giant soccer target, kids scavenger hunt, kids craft zone, FREE face painting & balloons
• Large outdoor undercover for shelter
• Alfresco areas shaded by cafe-style umbrellas
• Indoor, air-conditioned clubroom with bistro and bar facilities

A showcase of home style Croatian cooking from the various regions of Croatia will include:

• Seafood (calamari and mixed seafood)
• Spit roasted meats (pork, lamb and beef)
• BBQ chicken
• Chevapchichi in lepinja bread
• Sarma (stuffed cabbage leaf rolls) with homemade sausages
• Hot Dogs, Hot Chips and Gelati
• Amazing range of delicious, homemade cakes
• Crepes and hand made Croatian donuts
• Imported Croatian beer, wines and spirits
• Premium Local wines by winemakers of Croatian heritage
• Espresso coffee

Entry is $5 per adult.  FREE admission for kids under 16.  Free car parking
