Gilles at The Grounds Market is held in the Old Brick Dairy Pavilion, Adelaide Showground.
The Gilles Street Market originated in 2008 in the heart of Adelaide at the historic, Gilles Street Primary School. Heralded as Adelaide’s original fashion and design marketplace, Gilles Street has provided a platform for emerging and established designers to showcase their work, whilst also encouraging an ethical environment for pre-loved/vintage sellers. They also proudly support the reuse, recycle and re-love concepts to minimise waste impact on our environment.
In April 2018 Gilles Street Market relocated to a large indoor residence, at the Old Brick Dairy housed within the historic Adelaide Showground. There, it is located right alongside the prestigious Adelaide Farmers Market. Large barn doors give way to a delightful grassed area, with various live music activations, additional food and children’s zones.

Opening Time | 9am – 3pm
Each market includes fresh vendors with over 100 exciting local traders and delicious foods.
Onsite parking available (small fee), with parking also available on surrounding streets. Dogs on a lead are welcome.
