Hahndorf Lantern Festival | 14 Nov 2020

Hahndorf Lantern Festival

A Mini Lantern Festival (no parade) with hundreds of lanterns hung throughout Alec Johnson Park in Hahndorf.

Starting at 5pm they will have live bands, food and an amazing display of candle lit paper lanterns from little to very big.  They will launch their new Thongaphone Percussion Ensemble and you can have a go at the Thongaphone and percussion workshop led by MaxT.

As the light fades they will start their magical lantern lighting ritual and finish with a beautiful fire mural by Indigenous artist David Booth and friends.  Enjoy the atmosphere along with food, coffee and ice cream stalls.

This is a Covid Safe event and is ticketed for contact tracing. No alcohol or parade.

Adult tickets are $5 each with children under 18 free.
