Hokey Pokey Ice Cream, Sweets and Chocolates in Stirling
We’ve been looking longingly at the beautiful looking Hokey Pokey store in Stirling for 2 years and finally decided to wander in and we’re so glad we did. Hokey Pokey (originally Oak Tree Truffles) has a range of beautiful house-made truffles, fudges, chocolates, a mind-boggling range of lollies and ice cream.
You really could spend ages wandering around the shop reliving your childhood. Think candy necklaces, gobstoppers, musk sticks, liquorice and everything in between.
There are also handmade blocks of chocolate, including Ruby Chocolate, chocolate pretzels and a large selection of vegan chocolates.
There’s also a beautiful range of boxed chocolates if you are looking to buy a gift for someone special.
For fans of chocolate freckles, there’s a range of different sizes ranging from small blocks to large freckles and super large freckles.
They also serve milkshakes and spiders (not the wriggly sort!).
We simply couldn’t go past the ice cream which is made with fresh organic ingredients. Many of the ice cream flavours have been created from fresh produce supplied by local hills residents. There are also beautiful fresh fruit sorbets. There are your usual flavours such as chocolate and vanilla but also a variety of changing flavours depending upon what’s in season.
You can also take home your favourite ice cream flavour in a tub.
We had a generous serve of ice cream in a small cup for $4.50 and the texture of the ice cream was very smooth and the flavours were amazing.
If you’re lucky enough to live in the hills near Stirling, you can also receive free delivery on ice cream and other products.
