Hop into Adelaide Zoo this Easter!

The Adelaide Zoo is open all Easter weekend, including public holidays.  Bounce in with the family, friends or your someone special to help them celebrate Australia’s very own native ‘Easter Bunny’ – the beloved but threatened Greater Bilby!

This adorable little marsupial is a symbol of hope for native wildlife, and at Zoos SA they are working hard to protect this bouncing bandicoot from extinction.

Go along to spend the weekend surrounded by wildlife, join in the Easter egg hunt and get colouring to show your love for Bilbies.

Easter Egg Hunt

Find three of the six giant Easter eggs, designed by artist James Parker, hidden around the zoo. Write down their locations to collect a free chocolate bilby from the Zoo Shop.  Ages 14 and under. While stocks last.

Greater Bilby Talks

Easter Sunday and Monday at 11am in the Nocturnal House.  Get to know the unique personalities of the beautiful Greater Bilbies of Adelaide Zoo.  Watch up close as they enjoy some special treats and ask all of your bilby-related questions from a keeper.

Colouring-in Competition

Adelaide Zoo has teamed up with their friends at Melba’s Chocolates to offer two little artists (aged 12 and under) the chance to win the ultimate Easter prize stocked with yummy goodies. Download the colouring page and follow the instructions to enter.
