What’s On over the Easter Long Weekend in Adelaide

If you’re staying in Adelaide over the Easter long weekend or planning to visit one of our beautiful regional areas, you will be spoilt for choice with a fabulous selection of family friendly events and activities on offer.

Easter is in April this year falls the week prior to the South Australian Autumn school holidays.  The four day long weekend is a great opportunity to take some time out as a family, either relaxing at home or out and about exploring our wonderful state.  Head to the hills for a day trip, go camping along the coast or venture further out and spend a few days in one of our regional areas.

  • 6 April 2026: Easter Monday

If you’re looking to keep costs down over the Easter long weekend, there are plenty of free things to do in Adelaide for families, from playgrounds and beaches to museums, galleries and local events.
