Safe and supervised ‘in water’ experiences of our unique marine life and habitats.

Experiencing Marine Sanctuaries (EMS) is an incorporated, not-for-profit community organisation. The program is based on the highly successful New Zealand program ‘Experiencing Marine Reserves’.

EMS snorkel leaders are qualified snorkelling instructors and offer guidance, direction and coordination of our snorkel experiences.

EMS provides mask (goggles), snorkel, fins (flippers) and wetsuits (these are limited so please bring your own if you can).

The EMS program is designed for adults and children (5 years and above), parents & grandparents that are interested in experiencing and learning about SA’s unique marine life and habitats.
