Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale? Directed by Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo,” “WALL•E”) and produced by Lindsey Collins (co-producer “WALL•E”), the film features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton.

Finding Dory swims into cinemas 16 June 2016.

Play & Go Review – Editor’s Note 15 June 2016

The Disney Pixar studios have done a wonderful job, bringing our old sea friends back to the big screen in Finding Dory. It’s a new adventure for our loveable forgetful friend in a sweet story highlighting the importance of family and friendship. We get to see some old characters from Finding Nemo as well as meet some great new ones.
Dory reminds us how a little creature with a handicap can still do amazing things. “What would Dory do?” will be a popular mantra for kids. She continually finds herself in a difficult situation which seems impossible to get out of, but uses her nouse and looks for solutions to her problem. With plenty of determination and a great attitude of never giving up, plus a little bit of help from friends, she gets out of sticky situations and achieves her goals. She’s also brave at introducing herself to new sea creatures and is great at making new friends. There’s so many positive things that children can take from this movie. Another positive note is that nobody dies!

Scary factor: there’s really only one scene with a big scary octopus chasing Dory which may frighten little ones. Apart from that, there are some anxious moments when characters get into trouble but nothing too dark.

We all enjoyed this movie and we think you will too.

Tip – stay until after the credits for a little extra snippet.
