Pink wows Adelaide
Pink’s Beautiful Trauma Tour entertained Adelaide fans with four sell-out shows at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
That tells you straight away how popular she is. Her concerts have always received raved reviews and once you experience one you can totally understand why. Our first Pink concert experience totally lived up to all the hype. She is an absolute star performer – her vocals are strong; her songs are passionate; she can dance and perform all sorts of aerial tricks that blow you away. She’s also remarkably humble and has a strong message to deliver to young girls. In her concert she shares an empowering moment she had with her daughter about self acceptance and true beauty which made headlines when she first talked about it in her speech at the MTV Music Awards.
It’s not until I looked closely at some of these close-up photos that I fully appreciated how brave and amazing some of her stunts were! As you can see there are no wires, she’s up there high above the ground very vulnerable to gravity.
Another noticeable thing about her concert is that it’s not all about scantily-clad performers with provocative moves, as so many concerts are these days. Ok, so the guy below is not wearing much, but on the whole the musicians and dancers are showcased for their incredible talents with their music and their dancing, making it totally suitable if you were taking any young child fans (apart from it being so late at night and of course the ticket price).
See a little snippet of the concert in our Facebook video and our photos from the night below.
