Adelaide’s fairytale property Thorngrove Manor, will be opening their gates to visitors for their first Open Gardens in ten years.
Thorngrove Manor will open its gates as part of the new season of Open Gardens SA on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September 2016. This is the first time in 10 years that they have opened the garden to the public.
The private luxury hotel is the recipient of many awards, and is considered one of the world’s outstanding, romantic and artistic properties with its unique and creative architecture and beautiful grounds.
This weekend you can enjoy the extensive garden with all the special topiary animals; squirrels, dogs, sheep, an elephant and a giraffe.
They would love all the children to dress up as princes, princesses, elves and fairies. Children are admitted free with adults.
You are welcome to take lots of photos in the garden and share with them.
The northern gate will be open from 10am until 4.30pm daily on both the Saturay & Sunday.
Cost is $8.00 per Adult. Childen under 18 are free. Commonwelath concessions are $6.00.
Entry fees go to Open Garden Scheme, the Stirling CFS and the Stirling Library for some new garden books.
Please note: only the gardens will be open to the public, not the hotel.
