International Day of People with Disability
Celebrating ‘International Day of People with a Disability’ (IDPWD) has been a staple on the calendar for many years at Minda.
IDPWD is aimed at increasing public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability. This year the event will be bigger and better, dressed in a Christmas atmosphere, as everyone in the community is invited to join. Minda provided food and entertainment options will be available for a gold coin donation.
Enjoy a wonderful day out, discovering a selection of market stalls from a variety of local businesses, live music, dance and entertainment, BBQ and other food, such as ice cream and fairy floss. Participate in a raffle, tombola and lucky dip and take home some prizes.
Ride on one of the amusement rides or meet some new furry friends at the petting zoo. There will even be an appearance from Santa himself.
Cost: gold coin donation for public, free for Minda clients
