Kimba All-Abilities Playground

Kimba All-Abilities Playground

Kimba mother Chloe Hanan had the idea to renovate Kimba’s existing playground to be more inclusive, after her daughter Mya struggled during trips to the playground.

The Kimba parents group raised $4500 for the fence, whilst the Kimba District Council brought the project to life, backing a $150,000 Fund My Neighbourhood grant application.

Major features of the playground include a a group swing, wheelchair accessible ramps and a wheelchair accessible merry-go-round.
