The Listies 6D

If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend then check out this hilarious interactive kids’ comedy show at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
The Listies 6D is all about the movies and (without spoiling the plot) you can expect haunted backpacks, vomiting puppets, toilet paper guns, and ninja grannies. It’s all filmed on a helmet powered GoPro* and an actual movie is made, starring the audience.
The Listies 6D (twice as much fun as 3D) is the latest from comic duo The Listies (aka Rich & Matt) who are billed as Australia’s most sought after kids’ comedians.
The Listies 6D ticks all the boxes for us. We recommend you round up your children, their friends, your friends and their kids, the grandparents, and anyone in need of a bit of cheering up and head along to be entertained by this very silly show.

We think The Listies 6D is the kind of show that is perfect to go to with your kids.
We’ve all been to those shows for kids where you find yourself falling asleep, furtively checking emails on your phone, counting down the minutes or thinking about your shopping list. The Listies 6D is none of these things. If you can handle a bit of silliness and unleash your inner kid then you’ll love it.

What the Play & Go kids thought
The little Play & Go reviewers, aged 6 and 8, loved the show. There was a wonderful energy between Rich & Matt and they were truly, truly funny. Their cheeky sense of fun and their mixture of slapstick and fart/vomit/toilet humour was well received by the kids in the audience, and there were plenty of great moments for grown-ups too. The eight year old said he “had to laugh lots”.
Don’t miss it!
The Listies 6D is playing Sunday 11am and 2pm.
What’s not to love about a fully automatic toilet paper gun? It was that kind of show.
Something on Saturday
We love Something on Saturday and recommend it as an excellent family outing. Before and after the shows you can check out the free Foundation Kids Corner Workshops run by the same team who’ve been coming up with fun creative ideas for kids’ craft since the 90s.
This weekend they were there to help kids make their own cardboard stinky shed (following on from Mr Stink, also running this weekend).

Tips for enjoying Something on Saturday
❤️ Allow time to get there. With the ongoing work to rejuvenate the Festival Theatre you’ll need to go the long way around to get to the Dunstan and Space Theatres. There are Festival Theatre employees there to help direct you.
❤️ Get your tickets early and then go for a wander along the Torrens. Or grab a coffee from just outside the Space Theatre and enjoy watching your kids play amongst the water feature at the base of the steps to the Torrens.
❤️ Factor in some time to enjoy the Foundation Kids’ Corner Workshop, and bring a bag to take home all the creations.
❤️ Our kids love the walk along the edge of Torrens Lake. On a sunny day like today the paddleboats were out in full force and kids were lining up for a ride on Popeye.
