Does your little one love music? Research has shown that music has a significant impact on the brain development of babies, as well as language and literacy learning, so it’s never too soon to start.
Little Voices Music classes involve a carefully designed, developmental program of singing, movement and sensory activities based on the Kodaly approach to Early Childhood Music Education. Musical concepts are taught through songs and rhymes, with the help of puppets, props, stories and percussion instruments.
Some of the many benefits of early childhood music classes are:
- Speech and language development
- Social skills
- Listening, memory and concentration
- Sensory development
Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, at Hectorville and Tranmere, for children aged 3 months to 3 years.
“Witnessing the delight that music brings to children is priceless. I find it rewarding to work with families, and value the opportunity to share the joy that Early Childhood Music brings.” – Jane Hill, Little Voices Music teacher
