Lord Mayor’s Queen Adelaide Birthday Virtual Morning Tea
The City of Adelaide is celebrating Queen Adelaide’s Birthday with a virtual reception at the Adelaide Town Hall on 13 August.
The City of Adelaide is looking for the brightest young Adelaide and her family to join the Lord Mayor to celebrate in person. The winner will attend a special morning tea with the Lord Mayor in the Queen Adelaide Room, where she will be crowned a princess for the day by the Lord Mayor.
Normally, the City of Adelaide hosts an annual reception to honour our City’s namesake and those who share her name in the Queen Adelaide Room of the Adelaide Town Hall.
For the first time in its history, Council will host the event online due to COVID-19 restrictions limiting venue numbers.
