100th Melrose Show – ‘Picnic Show of the North’.
The Mt. Remarkable Agricultural Society Inc’s annual Melrose Show is on the Saturday of the October long weekend.
Held at Dorrington Park, approx. 1km north of Melrose, the show is a fun day out for the entire family with entertainment such as side show alley, horses in action, country music, animal nursery, treasure hunt, face painting, rides, yard dog, sheep, cattle and inside exhibits.
The 100th annual Melrose Show book has been released and an online version of the show book will also be available. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for regular updates and the full 2024 event program.
Visitors are encouraged to book and stay at the year round campgrounds at the foot of Mount Remarkable, 2km north of Melrose.
