101st Annual Melrose Show – ‘The Picnic Show of the North’.
The Mt. Remarkable Agricultural Society Inc’s annual Melrose Show is held on the Saturday of the October long weekend. Located at Dorrington Park, approx. 1km north of Melrose, the show is a fun day out for the entire family with entertainment such as side show alley, horses in action, country music, animal nursery, treasure hunt, face painting, rides, yard dog, sheep, cattle and inside exhibits.
The 101st annual Melrose Show book will be released closer to the date and an online version of the show book will also be available. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for regular updates and the full event program. The official show opener for 2025 is Ali Clarke.
Visitors are encouraged to book and stay at the year round campgrounds at the foot of Mount Remarkable, 2km north of Melrose.
