Moth Night at the Bee Hub
This Moth Night is part of the Great Southern Bioblitz.
Calling citizens scientists young and old, any experience level, for a relaxed, outdoor summer picnic tea and Moth Night in the beautiful Brownhill Creek/Wirraparinga valley. Hosting the event will be scientists from Ferox australis and Rossi from the Bee Hub.
When the sun goes down, everyone will go for a short guided walk through the surrounding area, put the screens up and the lights on, and have a chance to observe moths and other wildlife using the iNaturalist app.
A tasty picnic tea will be served individually. Let the organisers know about any special dietary requirements.

- Information about moths and other pollinators
- Training on how to use the iNaturalist citizen science app
- A short talk about citizen science
- Delicious homemade food
- Insect displays to look at
- Friendly and knowledgeable people to chat with
