Mr Snotbottom’s Stinky Silly Show| Adelaide Fringe 2022 | Review
★★★★ 4 stars for silly humour, perfectly aimed at a young audience
Mr Snotbottom knows what kids like, and he delivers. Simple, silly slapstick and songs, and fart and snot jokes galore. The humour is aimed towards younger kids and it had them in stitches. He knows how to get the kids engaged and encourages heckling from even the youngest of audience members. His sleight of hand left the kids saying “how did he do that?”.
This show is definitely aimed at younger kids and relies on toilet humour as a central part of the show. It’s fast-paced to keep the kids entertained and there’s some audience participation. There are a few jokes here and there for the adults but it’s the children that will get the most out of the show.
The Factory has sharply staggered seating, so even the back rows have a clear view for little people. It’s also delightfully cool in the venue on hot days.
