Mud Central | Myrtle Bank | 21 Apr 2016

mud central

The City of Unley and Nature Play SA bring you Mud Central this April school holidays!

Expect heaps of different activities to get stuck into: A big mud kitchen, nature crafts, art activities, cubby building, a story time session run by Unley Libraries. Learn about compost, big old trees and more! A great free day out for the family.

Food and drink available for purchase or BYO picnic!

Prepare to get muddy: wear your least favourite clothes and gum boots or old sneakers! Bring along a bucket, spade or old fry pan!

Mud Central is part of the Festival of Mud! A month-long festival celebrating nature and loose parts play to raise awareness of the fundamental importance of connecting with nature and playing outdoors for healthy development. The Festival of Mud is a collaboration between the Department of Education and Child Development, Natural Resources Adelaide & Mt Lofty Ranges, the Cities of Unley and Burnside, Nature Play SA, Principals Australia Institute, Playgroup SA and Kids Matter.
