Learn about Navigation at Dock 2 in Port Adelaide
Presented by Clipper Ship ‘City of Adelaide’ as part of the SA History Festival, children will learn how to make a compass from the kit supplied, then use that compass to navigate around Dock 2.
Volunteers will be on hand to assist. Enjoy displays in Shed 13 tracing changes in navigation from the era of the Clipper Ship, City of Adelaide to the present day. Tours of the Clipper Ship are available with discount with vouchers provided at the event.
Shed 13 and Dock 2 are wheelchair accessible, stairs lead into the Clipper Ship. Toilet facilities are portaloos.
Tickets: $14.30 per child, adults accompanying children admitted free. Bookings are essential.
