Neighbourly Act of Kindness – Do you have relatives, friends or neighbours you are concerned about?

A Cornish woman has come up with a way of helping people who are self-isolating or may be lonely due to the coronavirus crisis and now others around the world are copying the idea.

Becky Wass felt so helpless by news of the spread of the COVID-19 virus that she was compelled to do something about it. So she created the idea of “self-isolating cards” to post to those self-isolating for various reasons.

The cards, which are available to download online so people can print them at home, include boxes for neighbours to write their name, address, phone number and state whether volunteers can help with picking up shopping, urgent supplies, posting mail or even just “a friendly phone call”.
