Skate and Spray Park – Apex Park, Wudinna

On Australia Day, the community celebrated the Grand Opening of the new Skate and Spray Park development at Apex Park in Wudinna including a splash pad and pump track.

NOTE: The Skate and Spray Park is currently closed until further notice as the contractor completes final works and to give the new turf a chance to establish. The security fencing will remain in place and the council asks that members of the public do not attempt to enter the site for their own safety. It won’t be too long until everyone can enjoy the facilities.

The $750,000 Apex Park project includes the development of an overall Apex Park masterplan, construction and installation of a splash pad and pump track, new landscaping, concrete pathways, turfing and irrigation. The upgrade provides locals and the wider community with another activity to enjoy in the park.

The park already includes a playground, jumping pillow, exercise equipment and barbecue. The council hopes the upgrades will increase visitation to the park as not only a rest spot for travellers, but a destination to go to Wudinna.
