Peregrine Store at Gumeracha is a little shop with a lot of heart and well worth the country drive!

Nestled in the Northern Adelaide Hills town of Gumeracha sits Peregrine store. A retail shop full of character, heart and a fantastic selection of carefully curated items that are perfect for gifting, leisure and sparking creativity. Stepping foot inside Peregrine is not only a treat for the eyes and calming hug for your nervous system, the entire experience feels like you have wandered into an Enid Blyton story. There is something delightful around every corner and walking through and discovering all of the offerings fills your heart with adventure, fun and excitement for what is to come.
The motto of Peregrine store is “well thought, well made”. This can be felt when looking through their range as they feature quality pieces from craftsmen around Australia that are unique, fun and enticing. They also stock items that appeal to young and old so it really is a shop for everyone.
Some of the notable items that piqued my children’s interest were a pocket flower press, watercolour workbooks and bird calls. At the time of our visit the lovely owner Jessie was offering kids the opportunity to enjoy creating Christmas themed watercolour magic on cards or swing tags in the mini mess hall. This was a very sweet experience that was enjoyable yet calming for the kids and a perfect drawcard to entice us in.
After visiting Peregrine Store once and having the chance to chat to Jessie, I can hand on heart say that this shop is something special. This was my first visit but it certainly wont be my last and I encourage anyone with a sense of fun, a love of nature and a need to unwind, to give Peregrine a visit.
