Walk with your best friend (furry or human) this September to help homeless pets find their best friends.

Best Friends’ Walk is a month-long virtual fitness and fundraising challenge for you and your best friend (furry or human). With 9,000+ homeless pets across Australia waiting for love and a safe place to call home, every step you take makes a difference.

Choose your distance and raise funds to help homeless pets find their new best friends through PetRescue’s adoption platform and assistance programs. It’s free to sign up and you’ll get to strengthen the bond between you and your BFF.

How it Works:

Register:

• Set a fundraising goal and choose how far you and your BFF will walk during September to help homeless pets find love.
• You can choose any distance that will challenge you. Maybe it’s 5km a day for 10 days to reach a 50km goal or 1km a day for the entire month to reach 30km or even 5km every weekday to walk 100km.
• Just make sure it’s suitable for your furry best friends abilities, too.

Fundraise:

• Share your challenge and get everyone you know to dig deep and sponsor you.
• Funds raised will go toward finding a home for every pet that needs one.

Walk:

• Pick the path that suits you and your best friend to reach your challenge goal.
• You can walk anywhere you and your best friend would like to during September – whether around your neighbourhood, on a bushwalk, at the beach or in a park. Walk solo or with all your besties.
