The town of Lenswood is well known around the world for producing some of Australia’s best apples and cherries and At Lenswood apples are not the apples you find in the supermarket – you are missing out if you’ve never eaten an apple straight off the tree whilst walking through an orchard! You will find eight different varieties available at different times throughout the season (some crossing over) – Pink Lady, Rosy Glow, Red Delicious, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Fuji and Sundowners.

Farm Cafe & Shop
Their Farm Cafe & Shop is stocked with locally produced food – why not grab something for lunch?
They also sell drinks, coffee and tea plus savoury bakery items for lunch proudly made by the Lenswood General Store. You can also grab one of their ‘Aussie Apple Pies’.
They have also teamed up with Hokey Pokey Ice Cream at Stirling to make apple-themed ice creams and they also have a variety of locally produced items, gifts, toys and souvenirs
Facilities
At Lenswood have plenty of car parking, and they also have a family toilet and baby change facilities, are pram-friendly and wheelchair accessible. They have also partnered up with more local producers to open their Farm Cafe which boasts a delicious range of locally made apple pies and savoury bakery items.

- 2 and under are free
Your entry fee includes – all you can eat apples, use of our outdoor games and amusements and use of the amenities.
Dogs more than welcome.
You must pay for what you intend to take home. Apples range in price from $3.50 – $5 per kilo, depending on how many you pick.

Chris and Emily Shipway, the husband and wife duo who welcome you to experience their 23 acre slice of Lenswood in the magnificent Adelaide Hills, wanted their orchard to be a ‘Pick Your Own’ orchard so that families could experience their farm in the beautiful Adelaide Hills and experience the joy of apple picking.
