Picnic With A Princess at Carclew Castle
Enter a world where fairytales come to life as Once Upon A Princess cordially invite you to ‘Picnic With A Princess’ with an ‘Easter twist’ at heritage listed Carclew Castle in North Adelaide.

Built in the 1800’s the grand castle featuring a stunning slate tower, is where the fairytale magic begins. Children will see all the Royal Princesses on the balcony on arrival – imagine their excitement when they spot their favourite Princess they’ve grown to love from the storybook fairytales.
The Royal Unicorn ponies Ruby and Pip will also make an appearance.
The covid-safe Picnic With A Princess with an Easter twist will feature an Easter egg hunt, Easter bunny petting nursery, unicorn ponies, soft-serve ice cream, doughnuts, barista coffee, slushies the Fairytale Princesses and more.
Picnic with a Princess will include:
- A meet and greet opportunity with all the favourite Princesses – Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Snow Sisters, Arabian Princess, Island Princess, Dancing Beauty, and the Little Mermaid.
- The Royal Unicorn ponies Ruby and Pip.
- Easter hunt and Easter activity bag to take home.
- Easter bunny necklace.
- Easter Bunny.
- Bunny rabbit animal nursery (children will be able to pat and hold a real bunny rabbit)
- Soft serve
- Hot doughnuts
- Slushies
- Fresh barista coffee
Guests are welcome to pack a picnic rug and basket and enjoy a picnic on the sprawling lawns at the Castle. Children are welcome to wear their princess best for photo opportunities. The event will run for approximately one and a half hours.
Don’t forget the sunscreen, hat, rug and picnic basket.

Tickets:
- Children and adults are $55 each.
- Children under 1 are FREE (excludes gifts and refreshments)
There are a limited number of tickets per session to give children enough time to enjoy the activities and meet and greet with the characters. There is also limited capacity due to covid-safe requirements.
These events tend to sell out fast so make sure to get in quick.
