PLAY & GO MOVIE REVIEW:

Pitch Perfect 3 follows everyone’s favourite a capella group, the Bellas, as they struggle in the real world. After college, they all go their separate ways, facing the reality of normal jobs compared to their previous singing adventures. However, after reuniting, they are given one last opportunity to perform for the USO tour and sing together again.

Despite this being the third instalment in the series, it is still just as hilarious, lovable and aca-awesome. Some refreshing new characters and cameos are introduced and as always, the pop-feminist aspect has you cheering for the girls to snag another win. Like the other films, this is laugh-out-loud slapstick comedy that adults and teens alike will enjoy.

The plot is quite similar to the other films, but nevertheless, the nostalgic element and heart-touching friendship between the characters keeps you engaged. There is also a fun, refreshing twist to the standard singing-competition plot, keeping the series interesting and unpredictable. Additionally, the song choices will have you wanting to sing out loud with the characters, with a range of popular tracks to go alongside the well-choreographed a capella performances!
