The City of Burnside has an ‘all wheels – all ages’ pump track which is available to use for free at various locations throughout the council area.
The pump track is a FREE recreational facility for all wheeled sports including bikes of all types, scooters, skateboards, roller skates and the very cool balance bike for toddlers.
Open from sunrise to sunset everyday, simply BYO your own bike etc. and don’t forget to wear protective gear and helmet. When others are also using the track keep a safe distance between riders and be aware the track can get slippery when wet. Parent/guardian supervision is required.
NOTE: some equipment is not suitable for use such as 3 wheels, go-karts, motorised equipment, bikes with training wheels.
LOCATION:
The pump track will be at the Linden Avenue Reserve car park, Hazelwood Park from 4 February 2025 for approximately three months.
Open during daylight hours only, from sunrise to sunset everyday.
Previous pump track locations include: Civic Centre (cnr Portrush Road and Greenhill Road); Newland Reserve, Erindale; Miller Reserve, Linden Park; Kensington Park Reserve, Kensington Park.
