River Revival Vouchers – Enter the Ballot in Round 3
South Australians will once again have the opportunity to take part in a ballot for vouchers that can be used for experiences and accommodation in the Riverland and Murray River, Lakes and Coorong regions.
Discover the magic of the mighty Murray River by entering the February River Revival Voucher ballot for your chance to win a $100, $200 or $750 River Revival Voucher. Vouchers can be redeemed on hosted experiences, accommodation or houseboats and guided tours in South Australia’s Murray River regions. If you are successful in winning a voucher there is a strict booking period and travel period (see details below).
A $750 houseboat voucher was introduced in round two, allowing South Australians to plan an iconic houseboat holiday in the winter and spring periods last year when most houseboats were expected to be fully operational again.
More than 25,000 vouchers in total will be released over the three rounds, with the first round launching in April 2023, the second in June 2023 and the third and final round in February 2024 . The vouchers are expected to pour millions of dollars into communities affected by the once-in-a-century Murray River flood. Tourism operators right along the river have been significantly impacted by the flooding event, with many being closed for a significant period of time.
Enter the ballot at any time from 9am on Monday 19 February 2024 until 10pm on Tuesday 20 February 2024 to register for your chance to secure a River Revival Voucher.
You will be entitled to enter the draw once for:
a. One $100 experience voucher (does not include dining) AND/OR
Selecting your preference for one of the following vouchers:
b. $100 accommodation voucher (minimum one night stay); OR
c. $200 accommodation voucher (two night stay minimum); OR
d. $750 houseboat or guided tour voucher (minimum $1500 spend, inclusive of voucher spend)
If you Win a Voucher:
If you are successful in the ballot and receive a successful email and/or SMS on 21 February 2024, you are able to book your travel during the booking period of 21 February 2024 – 27 March 2024, for travel between 22 February 2024 – 30 June 2024. If you do not book your travel during the booking period, your voucher will expire.
Rise up for our River Campaign
The vouchers are being offered as part of the South Australian Tourism Commission’s $4.6 million river recovery plan, including the “Rise up for our River” marketing campaign and the River Revival Voucher program.
The campaign showcases iconic river locations, highlights tourism operators along the river and calls on South Australians to throw their support – and dollars – towards impacted river communities.
