Noarlunga Fire Station Family Fun Day
The MFS will be opening the doors to the NEW Noarlunga Command Fire Station on Saturday 25 March 2023 for a FREE family fun day.
Head along to the state’s newest fire station, which officially opened in February 2023, to get an insight into the inner workings of a local fire station and see a diverse range of activities that firefighters experience in their daily roles.
They will also be joined by other local emergency services personnel and their vehicles, trucks and equipment.
They will be running various children’s activities, such as:
- Meet MFS firefighters and take a close-up look through a variety of fire trucks and equipment
- Meet other local emergency services personnel, such as SA Country Fire Service and the Search and Rescue Canines
- An interactive child fire safety education display, including the ‘Stop, Cover, Drop and Roll’ game
- View road crash rescue demonstrations with their Road Awareness Program (RAP) team
- Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) display and demonstration
Entry is FREE and there will be food and drink available to purchase on the day.
