SAHMRI’s Bright Walk | Adelaide | 6 Jul 2024

Be part of SAHMRI’s BRIGHT Walk in 2024 – an epic 21km night-time walking challenge coinciding with the Illuminate Adelaide Festival and raising money for lifesaving medical research at SAHMRI.

The BRIGHT Walk is a powerful, illuminated, one-night experience which challenges you to walk 21km at night in the middle of winter to raise funds to help SAHMRI’s bright and brilliant researchers create a brighter future for the people we love.

The event will take place on the night of Saturday 6 July 2024 in Adelaide, coinciding with the Illuminate Festival.

The BRIGHT Walk route promises to be a stunning spectacle.  You’ll be walking past a number of the Illuminate Adelaide installations, as well as some exciting extras created exclusively for this event.

The route map will be available to download online and to your smartphone before the event.

Sign up on your own, or team up with your family and friends to create your own BRIGHT Walk party.

The typical registration cost is $75. This covers the cost of staging the walk including the lights, making the event safe and your rewards. There are discounts on offer in the lead-up to the walk. On the day it costs $99.
