Sconefest – A Musical Jam with Scones and Cream

When you are a musician, you are forever a musician and this is what SconeFest celebrates.

A truly nostalgic community event, Sconefest presents scones from the Country Women’s Association Adelaide Branch with a program of original music written by South Australian artists of all ages. Featured artists include Frank Loves Joan, Pat Wilson and Adrian Barnes, Hannah Yates, Kate Neville and more.

Tickets include your first serve of scones. You can then purchase as many as will fit in your belly throughout the afternoon!

Roving Café will be there to sell a cup of local T-Bar Tea or Cirelli Coffee to compliment your scones. If you consider yourself a baker, you can also participate in the Best Scone Fest. For a small entry fee, bring a batch of your scones for the CWA to judge and you could take home the title and a prize.

So, if you have never had a CWA scone then you must attend and for those who have you know why you need to go.  Bring your singing voice or instrument for a community jam session at the end.

Sconefest is a perfect way for the whole family to spend a wintery Sunday afternoon.

Tickets are $12 to $15.

SconeFest is part of the Umbrella Winter City Sounds Program and is sponsored by Beerenberg and Paris Creek.
