Semaphore Summer Carnival is returning for another season of beachside fun on the foreshore during the Summer holidays.
Held each year during the summer school holidays, the Semaphore Summer Carnival is an outdoor, open air, fun-filled outing for the whole family. Soak up some beachside fun on the foreshore with thrill rides and attractions, enjoy a swim in the ocean and relax on the grassed areas with a picnic. There are some great food eateries along Semaphore Road.
The Semaphore Summer Carnival will be open daily from Saturday 16 December 2023 until Sunday 28 January 2024 (closed Christmas Day) from 11am to 10pm (weather permitting).
Entry to the carnival is free.

Rides & Attractions include:
- Carousel Merry Go Round (one of the oldest and historical carousels around today)
- Dodgem Cars
- Hurricane (for the thrill seekers)
- Ali baba (fly high in the sky)
- Cyclone ride (twist n turns)
- Bungy trampolines (fan favourite)
- UFO Bumper Cars (battery op cars with laser tag guns attached)
- Spinning jungle coaster (coaster with a twist)
- Fun factory (maze of fun)
- Sideshow games clowns, ballon bust, basketball
Cost per ride or games range from $6 – $15 per person.
