Social & Support Group for ASD and Neuro-Diverse Children and Parents
All children are unique. It is important to build on their strengths and support them through challenges. The same can be said about us, parents and educators. Our own well-being is crucial in guiding children through life difficulties. Mindful Kiddo was created to support both children and carers and offers Mindfulness Programs to teach emotional regulation and build self-awareness, resilience as well as wellbeing.
The Social & Support Group Program is designed to accommodate neuro-diverse children and support their families at the same time. While parents are enjoying their own session with a professional, children can build their emotional and social skills. The activities include mindful movement, breathing, craft and fun games. This 8-week program helps in creating friendships and assists parents in their challenging journey. Because “it takes a village to raise a child”.

What: Social & Support Group. 8-week Program for ASD and Neuro-Diverse Children and Parents.
When: Tuesday afternoons 5:15pm to 6:15pm, during school term, starting from 3rd August 2021
Where: Kilburn Community Centre, 59 Gladstone Ave, Kilburn (event will be delivered online if COVID-19 restrictions apply)
Who: ASD and Neuro-Diverse children aged 5-12 years. Parents and carers of children with additional needs.
