Spectrum Connect Kids Clubs
Spectrum Connect offers weekly Kids Clubs for Autistic and Neurodiverse kids aged 7 to 13 years of age. The Clubs are a place where children can try new things, make friends and be themselves.
The meeting spaces are set up to support the various support needs of Autistic children and the groups are supported with staff at a ratio of 1 to 4. Each week they have a different primary entertainment for the kids to try but no one is forced to join in if they don’t want to. They also offer high energy play areas, quiet relaxation spaces and side game areas to ensure that there are plenty of opportunities for the kids to engage within the space.
Meeting Times & Venues
Meetings occur during school term time with 3 groups currently running during the week:
- Tuesdays – Fulham Community Centre | 19 Fitch Rd, Fulham
- Wednesdays – Cumberland Community Centre | 390 Goodwood Rd, Cumberland Park
- Thursdays – Reynella Neighbourhood Centre | 164/170 Old S Rd, Old Reynella
In August, Spectrum Connect will be launching a fourth venue in Surrey Downs and they are currently accepting expressions of interest for that new group.
Activities
Activities this term include events such as a bubble making workshop, Sneaker Designing, Ezy Roller Race event and much more.
NDIS payments are available to self-managed and plan-managed participants with relevant NDIS goals.
