Start at Home Activities with the Art Gallery of SA
Extend your Start experience at home with online activities.
Held at AGSA on the first Sunday of every month, Start at the Gallery is an exciting introduction to art for children aged 3-12 and their families. This free family-fun day includes art activities, tours, live performances and entertainment.
However, due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the Art Gallery of SA (AGSA) closed for a period of time during 2020. During this time AGSA created a series of online activities that can be done from home.
Since April 2020 AGSA has been sharing ideas and inspiration to continue creating art projects at home, such as the Start at Home and Start Online: Monster Sounds, an audio-sensory experience on Monster Theatres.
Recent activities include Fabulous Floral Prints, pigment painting and Narrative Portraits.
