Strawberry season in South Australia usually starts around late October/early November and runs until April or May depending on the season, but it will vary from farm to farm. An activity the whole family will enjoy, there are some fabulous strawberry farms not too far from Adelaide where you can pick your own fruit, or buy a few punnets direct from the farm gate.
Check directly with each farm before heading off as not all farms offer the option to pick your own, and some days the option won’t be available if quantities are low. Opening hours will also vary, especially on public holidays.
