The Black Blues Brothers: Adelaide Fringe 2025 Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars for the feel-good hit of the Fringe!

The Black Blues Brothers is feel-good fun from start to finish! With an upbeat soundtrack featuring songs from the iconic movie, The Blues Brothers, and astonishing moves from five amazingly talented acrobats, this show is an absolute joy to watch. The audience certainly agreed, giving it a foot thumping, standing ovation.
The show is set in a 1920’s style lounge bar, where a group of black-suited barmen transform into a troupe of high-energy acrobats. Their act covers everything from front flipping under a skipping rope, limbo dancing under flames, forming human pyramids to a lighthearted (family friendly) strip tease.
The acrobats are wonderful entertainers, engaging the audience with an easy charm and cheeky smiles. There is some audience participation, so try to sit up the front if you are keen to be involved in the fun.
We can’t recommend this show enough. The kids will love the fun music and acrobatic feats, and it’s also a great idea for a girl’s night (chiseled torsos galore!) or date night. The Black Blues Brothers will leave you with a big smile on your face ready to “Shake Your Tail Feather” at Gluttony afterwards.
