The @uraidlasusfair is back for 2026 on Sunday 15 March, with delicious food and wine, ethical fashion and sustainable market stalls, live music, and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.A relaxed day out in the beautiful Adelaide Hills - browse the stalls, enjoy the music and soak up the atmosphere.Tickets are just $10 for a family. Kids 12 and under are free!

Ever explored the Tea Tree Gully Heritage Museum? If not, it’s well worth adding to your list.
Tucked away in the historic township of Tea Tree Gully, this beautiful old building dates back to 1854 and has lived many lives - from the Highercombe Hotel to a post office, school residence, library and council office before becoming the museum it is today.

We visited during one of their Heritage on Sunday events (held on the third Sunday of each month) and the theme was Pills & Potions. Kids could smell different medicinal foods, hear stories about strange old remedies, and there was even a “sick” lady in bed that gave us a bit of a surprise when we walked in. 😅

What makes it really lovely is that the museum is run by community volunteers who clearly love sharing these stories and making the experience fun for families.

It’s one of those places where kids can wander, ask questions and stumble across something interesting in every room.

Definitely one to keep in mind if you’re looking for a different kind of family outing.

We tried the 360° Full Dome Immersive Worlds experience at the @adlfringe and it’s such a fun adventure for families.

Inside the giant dome, the whole ceiling becomes a 360° world around you. We sank into the beanbags and watched The Great Solar System Adventure swirl across the dome - zooming past planets and getting VERY close to the sun.

At times the graphics feel surprisingly realistic, giving you that “flying through space” feeling as everything moves around you.

Short, immersive and perfect for younger kids (but still fun for adults too).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 stars for a fun and immersive adventure into another world.

There’s also VR experiences for ages 12+
