Tiny Tunes Jazz Club | Adelaide Fringe 2026 | Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 4.5 Stars for Introducing Tiny Music Lovers to Timeless Musical Styles.

Presented by South Australian performers, Em and Lis, AKA, Ms. Melody and Ms. Rhythm – this light-hearted show sees the talented duo (and mums themselves) sharing their love of jazz with a new generation of little music lovers. Tiny Tunes Jazz Club transforms much-loved nursery rhymes into a lively, concert experience designed for children aged 0–4.
What we really love is that this show introduces little ones to different styles of music. Familiar favourites like Old MacDonald, Twinkle Twinkle, and The Wheels on the Bus are given fresh energy with playful swing, gospel and samba rhythms. A personal favourite was This Little Piggy, reimagined and performed with a soulful, diva take, letting Ms. Melody and Ms. Rhythm show off their vocal talents. There was also time for a snuggle with your little ones when they sang Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World.
The little ones were especially engaged during their favourite familiar classics, while some of the less familiar tunes, perhaps better recognised by the grown-ups, saw attention gently drift at times. That said, this didn’t feel like a negative; rather, it reflected the beauty of introducing young audiences to something new, expanding their musical world beyond the songs they already know and love.
Held in the Atrium at The Warehouse Theatre in Unley, the space was thoughtfully set up to feel relaxed and welcoming for little ones. Plush toys were scattered at the front of the stage, soft mats covered the floor for easy sitting, and chairs were available for those who preferred them. Shakers were handed out to encourage participation, while colourful scarves appeared for the Rainbow Song, beautifully woven with Judy Garland’s Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The finale saw bubbles drifting through the room, much to the glee of the kids, who eagerly jumped up to pop them.
Ms. Melody and Ms. Rhythm were joined by a keyboard accompanist, with the duo also showcasing their own musicianship on ukulele. In a fun surprise, fellow South Australian Fringe performer, Jobe from Loops! I Did It Again, made a guest appearance for a couple of songs, impressing the audience with his beatboxing skills and adding a fresh, playful element.
It’s a shared musical experience for babies, kids and their grown-ups; a chance for tiny hands to clap, wave and tap along while enjoying live music. We love to support South Australian artists so it was a treat to see this show. Keep an eye out for this duo at the 2027 Adelaide Fringe!
