Triple P – Positive Parenting Program
The Hon Emma McBride MP has launched Triple P – Positive Parenting Program making it free for all families across Australia.
The Hon Emma McBride MP, Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention and Assistant Minister for Rural and Regional Health, launched the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program at the Kids Academy Warnervale in her electorate of Dobell on New South Wales’ Central Coast. The centre is run by the Affinity Education Group (AEG), one of Australia’s leading providers of childcare nationally.
Following receipt of a $40.6 million Australian Government Parenting Education and Support Grant, Triple P’s online parenting programs are now free for all parents and carers of young children (under 12 years). A suite of online programs accessible from smart phones, tablet and laptops, the easy to use modules can now be utilised by all parents and carers at their own pace and in their own time.
Triple P is a university-developed Australian program, backed by hundreds of research trials and proven by millions of parents around the world. Triple P has delivered positive outcomes for children and their families across Australia, and more than 30 countries around the world, for over 40 years.
