Tru Ninja Indoor Adventure Park in Adelaide – non-stop energy-burning fun for kids of all ages.
Review by Claire Davill
“5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, googolplex out of googolplex!” – this was the verdict from one of our junior reviewers after a session at the newly opened Tru Ninja indoor adventure park in Rundle Place.
Tru Ninja combines a huge indoor obstacle course, ninja warrior-style obstacle courses, a parkour zone and digital floor, timed wall-based obstacle course, junior play area and toddler zone. Think Ninja Warrior meets It’s a Knockout!
With a cafe on-site, party rooms, and dedicated sessions for teens and adults in addition to general admission sessions, the venue caters to people of all ages. Session times range from 1 hour, 1.5 hour and 2 hours, and there is more than enough to keep kids occupied and exhausted by the end.
Take the escalator up to the second floor of Rundle Place (one floor above Hijinx Hotel and Archie Brothers) and pass through the bright pink torii gate. Head to check in to grab your grip socks and optional gloves, place your shoes in the provided cubbies, and start exploring!

The inflatable obstacle course is huge, and includes climbing walls, slides, stepping stones, a battle beam, warped walls, ball pits and a wipeout machine. There is plenty of space for kids to run and jump, and there are shortcut exits throughout the course so kids can pick and choose which obstacles to tackle.

There is a small parkour zone nearby, and a digital floor as well.

The ninja warrior courses include multiple lanes with obstacles of varying difficulty. There are some that will challenge the nimblest adults, and some that small children can attempt with confidence. It’s easy to skip any obstacles, and there are Tru Ninja staff on hand to assist if you get stuck.

At the end of the ninja warrior courses are multiple warped walls of different sizes.
For smaller kids, there is a dedicated playground that includes smaller ninja warrior obstacles, multiple levels, crawling tubes and some amazing slides with flashing lights.

There is also a dedicated toddler zone, with extra tables and chairs for adults to sit and watch the little ones navigate plenty of soft play obstacles, including their own tiny little ninja course.

Don’t miss the timed wall-based obstacle course. This is tucked behind the entrance to the ninja warrior obstacles and can be easy to miss. Press the timer button, race up the stairs and then along the wall, avoiding the moving obstacles to reach the timer stop button at the other end.

The cafe provides a space to take a break, and includes plenty of tables and serves drinks, slushies, snacks and hot food.

Things to consider:
- Session times start every 30 minutes, and there are options for 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
- Session prices vary depending on length, age (6-15 years, 16 and over, or under 110cm, typically 5 and under), and whether general, adults only or teen hours are booked.
- Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult within arm’s reach, and children up to 12 years old must have a responsible adult on site while using the facility.
- Adult sessions run from 7pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and Teen Hour runs from 6-7pm every day.
