To celebrate the exciting Treasures of the Viking Age: The Galloway Hoard exhibition, the South Australian Museum is hosting a month-long Viking celebration, finishing with VikingFest on 28 & 29 June 2025.
What to Expect at VikingFest
Gather your friends and family for an epic two-day festival full of Viking-themed fun!
There’s something for everyone, including:
- Arts and crafts stalls
- Artisan workshops
- Norse storytelling
- Rune reading
- Medieval music
- Combat demonstrations
- You’ll also get the chance to chat with real-life experts in medieval history, archaeology, and artifact conservation.
