The City of Adelaide would like to invite everyone and their families and friends to congratulate and welcome home our Olympians!
The Rio 2016 Olympics has been exciting so now it’s time for us to celebrate the amazing achievements of our South Australian athletes including Anna Meares, gold medallist Kyle Chalmers and more.

Grab your Aussie flag, and join Minister for Sport, Leon Bignell and Lord Mayor Martin Haese in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga to welcome our talented athletes home, kicking off at noon.
Channel 7 and Southern Cross Austereo’s Mark Sodestrom and Chris Dittmar will be chatting with the athletes.
The team will take to the stage where you will hear about their Rio 2016 Olympic experiences, followed by a meet and greet where you will be able to get autographs and take a selfie with your champions.
There’ll be your favourite food trucks, free bubble soccer and live entertainment by Latin group La Bomba!
