Prepare for unexpected surprises, scary shadows & shoes that walk themselves as performer Theresa O’Connor combines pop-up books, puppetry, video animation & a ghost story into an exciting adventure.

Located in the beautiful Tandanya building this is a charming story book tale that comes to life using projection, puppetry and a clever handcrafted pop-up-book set.

‘Inside the Walls’ is a quiet, imaginative piece of theatre. My initial concern that it was a little *too* slow moving was short-lived as we were caught up in the skillful art of storytelling. Engaged in the tale of a single-child family who move into an old country house, we were led by the young girl’s adventures as she seeks to solve the spooky mysteries of her new home.

Aimed at primary school aged children ‘Inside the Walls’ captured the imagination of a diverse age group. The very young were engrossed in the imagination of it all while the older children were also impressed and curious by the craft and effects.

Theresa O’Connor held a quick Q&A after the performance answering some great questions from her young audience, proving that she had sparked the interest of young creative minds.
