Mighty Good Talent School is more than just a dance school. They offer classes for ages 18 months old right up to adults. 

Adelaide’s first children’s dancing, singing & acting school began as “The Johnny Young Talent School” in 1978. They provide quality, safe and cost effective education in all areas of the performing arts. Building self-esteem and confidence for future employment, whether on stage, or in any other workplace.

Happy Feet | Ages 18 months – 3 years

These 30 minute classes, once a week, are developed to enhance confidence, listening, motor skills, movement and social skills. Parents are welcome to watch the class. Each child is presented with a certificate of participation in the last class of each term.

Students have the option to perform in the Mid Year Showcase and Annual Concert if they want to experience the big stage. It’s an opportunity to experience older students performing.

Individual class duration:  45 minutes per subject

Commitment: 1 day/week

Happy Feet | 3 – 5 years

For those who are looking for a structured based curriculum. Classes encourage jazz technique with basic steps, sequences, and routines. Imagination and role-playing are part of the curriculum, building confidence through performance. Students have the opportunity to be on the big stage in the Mid Year Showcase and Annual Concert.

Junior | 5 – 7 years

  • Dance Class – Performance Package
  • Act & Sing Class – Performance Package

45-minute singing and dancing classes can be taken separately or in a 1 & 1/2 hour consecutive block. This is followed by a tap and ballet class from 10:45am – 11:30am (2 & 1/2 hour block with a 15 minute meal break).

These classes build self-confidence while learning good habits, in singing, acting and dancing. There are appropriate modern songs and dance routines taught to develop the complete performer. Singing classes include acting (basic lines and performance).

The material chosen in all three subjects is appropriate for this age and is fun and engaging.

Youth & Tween | 8 – 10 years (Youth) & 11 – 13 years (Tween) 

These acting, singing and dancing hour long classes can be taken separately or in a 3 & 1/4 hour block (includes a 15 minute meal break).

There is also an hour tap and ballet class (for Youth only) from 1:45pm – 2:45pm (4 & 1/4 hour block).

Step & Teen 14 years – Adult

Step acting, singing and dancing 1 hour classes can be taken separately or in a 3 hour consecutive block from 4:30pm – 7:30pm.
